EWMBA @ UC Berkeley -- Class of 2025

It’s been a while since I write something here, but I’m very excited to share the news that I’ve been recently admitted to an (EW)MBA program Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley. Haas is one of the best business schools in the world that offer part-time MBA program.

I just had an orientation program (called WELaunch) which was a 3-day immersive orientation experience where I got to meet and chat with at least 100 people from all walks of life, and all have very diverse and very interesting careers. I’ve been assigned to the Axe cohort, which is a weekend cohort (that co-exists with an Oski cohort — while other cohorts are for other times — Blue/Gold for weekdays, and Lux for the flex cohort).

There were a bunch of activities, like scavenger hunt, seminar on inclusivity, Haas’ defining leadership principles (Question the Status Quo, Confidence without Attitude, Student Always, and Beyond Youself), leadership communication seminar, etc. I’ve met so many great people from those activities that we’ve done together.

One of the places that we’re supposed to take a picture with on the Scavenger Hunt

By the end of WELaunch, we’ve been assigned a study group that will stick with us for the rest of the core classes and we learned about how a team can work together to collaborate effectively.
